Most analytics software got bigger. The people who run websites did not get more time. Tarsier is the small watcher in that gap: one script, one dashboard, one job.

This is the beginning. We do not have a wall of customer logos, and we will not invent one. What we have is a product you can open.

The story so far

Tarsier started from a simple annoyance. You ship a page. You want to know if anyone came. The tools that answer that question ask you to learn their whole profession first.

So the first chapter is Watch. Visitors, pages, sources, campaigns, and who is here right now. Our own site is public, so you can see the dashboard before you trust the pitch. Yours stays private.

The next chapters are already named. Understand will say what changed. Tell me will say it in a sentence. They are not here yet. The animal is. Serious software, enormous eyes, and no costume on a product that does not exist.

Why a tarsier?

Tarsiers are some of the smallest primates in the world, with famously enormous eyes. Small footprint. Big eyes. Always watching. Never creepy. The mascot is the product, not a sticker on the side of it.

Happily early

There is no team page of stock headshots here. That would be theater. Tarsier is a small operation at the start of the story: one job, a live dashboard, and a refusal to look bigger than it is.

It is free right now. If that changes, the pricing page changes first. No surprise invoice. No data sold to make the software feel free.

The Tarsier stack

One app. React Router, React, Vite, and Tailwind. It runs on Cloudflare Workers. Hits live in Analytics Engine. Sites and goals live in KV. Who is online lives in Durable Objects. Daily rollups live in R2.

    No cookies. No fingerprinting. No following people around the internet. Measuring a website is not a reason to watch its visitors home.
