Fair terms, plainly stated.
No forty-page scroll of doom. Here is the deal, in the same words we would use if you asked us in person.

The service
Tarsier is website analytics: it counts visits, pages, and events you define, and shows them in a dashboard. It is provided as-is. We aim for honest numbers, but traffic measurement is approximate by nature — bots exist, blockers exist, and no tool sees everything.

Your account
Your password is hashed and never stored in readable form. Keep it secret; you are responsible for what happens under your login. If someone else is using your account, change the password and carry on.

Fair use
Use Tarsier lawfully, on sites you operate or are allowed to measure. Do not use it to collect data you have no right to, and do not hammer the collector endpoint — it is a tiny script with feelings (rate limits). Abuse gets accounts suspended, because it has to.

Your data
Your analytics belong to you. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers, or use them for anything except running your dashboard. Traffic history rolls across a 90-day lookback.

Availability
Tarsier is a small operation. We work hard to keep it up and accurate, but there are no uptime guarantees and no enterprise SLA — just our best effort, which is considerable.
