A stack you can say out loud

You should be able to name your tools without a diagram. If the explanation needs a second slide, you have too many tools.

Tarsier is one app. The page you are reading and the dashboard you open are the same thing. React, React Router, Vite, Tailwind. It sits on Cloudflare Workers. Visits go to Analytics Engine. Sites and goals sit in KV. Who is online is a Durable Object. The daily numbers land in R2.

That is the list. It is not interesting, which is the point.

Enough is a decision

People collect tools the way other people collect sneakers. A new framework is a new identity. We did not want an identity. We wanted a page that loads, a number that is true, and one place to put both.

A bigger stack would have looked more serious. A marketing site over here. A product over there. A queue in the middle so they can pretend not to know each other. Serious, and also a second job. We already have a job. It is watching websites.

Small does not mean unfinished. It means we stopped when the thing worked. The script is tiny. The memory is ninety days. The dashboard answers a few questions and then gets out of the way.

You do not need our stack. You need a stack you can still explain next year, when you are tired and the shiny thing has a new name. Ours is written down. That was the whole ambition.
